Iliana will be off today. We provided an update on our Maintenance Personnel on Facebook. First Service is working to find a temporary replacement.
The gates to the Promenade have been fixed and are currently fully operational.
How fitting that on the week we celebrate Veteran’s Day we feature Army veteran, Michael Yanosik as our “Resident of the Week". Thanks for your military service, Michael. We also appreciate your service to our Bella Trae community on the “Master” board, the Finance Committee and as our compactor watchdog! Learn more about Michael in his feature below.
Ginger is our “Pet of the Month” for November. She lives on Grady with her parents Katrina and Jarrod. If you see them pout walking, Ginger would love it if you stopped to say “Hello.” Scroll down to read her story below.
Did you miss the last board meeting? No worries……..the video of the October 30th board meeting is posted below for you to watch at your convenience.
NOTE: The Promenade board meeting for November will be held early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The meeting will be on Wednesday, November 19th at 6PM. It is noted on the social committee calendar which we have posted below.
Welcome back to our “snow birds”! We are seeing many of our part-time residents return to the Promenade. It’s wonderful to see our “northern” neighbors out and about in the community again! And, thanks for bringing the cooler weather with you!
Reminder: All guest information needs to be loaded into the Gatehouse app and visitor passes will be required for entry to the community. If you have any vendors coming in to the community, please let them know that they need to stop at the kiosk and be given access to the community.
The board has approved a specific type of garage door keypad security camera that can be installed on all Promenade units. The myQ Smart Garage Door Video Keypad with wide-angle camera is the approved product. This specific unit replaces the existing garage door opener keypad and fits within the same footprint. It is available from Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart, etc. Homeowners may purchase and install the unit if they so choose. You can check online for compatibility to your existing garage door opener make/model prior to purchasing. NOTE: This is the only security camera approved for mounting on the outside of units in the Promenade at this time.
Join in the fun with your neighbors on the new community wide Facebook Page that is for residents of Bella Trae! You can find it at this link. There’s contests, prizes and no drama!
The Community Bike station is up and running! Want to go for a spin? All you have to do is fill out and turn in the required waiver. Once received, you will be given the code to the bike locks and you are ready to roll! Click this link to access a printable PDF copy of the Bike Waiver form. Or, you can pick up a printed copy from Iliana’s desk at the clubhouse.
Flatten or break down ALL boxes before throwing them in the compactor!

Michael Yanosik
How long have you lived in the Promenade? 11 years
Where did you move here from? Moved here from Fort Myers
What do you enjoy most about the Central Florida area? The weather is slightly cooler in central Florida in the winter. Also, when I drive out of Florida on a car trip it is faster to get to Georgia from Central Florida then it is from Fort Myers.
What do you dislike about Central Florida? The traffic; it’s becoming unbearable.
What do you like to do on a day off? Being retired, every day is a day off. I enjoy walking the Champions Gate area and speaking to everyone and anyone who wants to chat.
Ginger
This is Ginger who is a Cocker Spaniel and she is 2 years and 8 months old.
Ginger was abandoned as a young puppy in Baltimore Maryland and we adopted her at 8 months old.
She has the sweetest personality with quite a character. There is never a dull moment with her as sometimes she thinks she is a cat sleeping at the top of the couch or she thinks she is a human waiting by the table for dinner to be served.
Unlike most dogs, she is not a morning dog and likes to sleep in. She also often needs to be bribed to go out. Ginger is not too eager to walk a lot and prefers to chill at the gazebo or lay on the grass to enjoy the moment.
She loves the attention of others and if you give her a treat, she will be your best friend.
We are very lucky to have her as she brings so much joy and brightens the day with her gentle and sweet nature.
When she is happy she wiggles her whole butt and her nick name is Shakira.
Life with Ginger is a happy and wonderful adventure that we get to experience every day.
Ginger lives with her parents; Katrina&Jarrod on Grady Lane.
Promenade Board Meeting 10/30/25
Hello Promenade Residents.
The Promenade Board is excited to announce the kickoff of the Promenade Community Bike Program. All Promenade residents, their family and friends will have the opportunity to utilize the community bikes from the bike rack conveniently located by the mail kiosk. And the best part......it's FREE!!! Wanna go for a ride? Here's how the program works:
1. Request and complete the REQUIRED waiver form from your community CAM; Iliana Ruiz. You may request a form via email, or physical copies are available in her office at the Bella Trae Clubhouse during operating hours. A waiver form is also attached to this email.
Note: Your signature on the waiver covers your family and your guests.
2. Once the form is completed, signed and returned to Iliana, you will be given the access code to the bike locks. Simply unlock the bikes and go!
3. Upon the completion of your ride, return the bikes to the community bike rack and lock them back up for the next group to enjoy.
Want to ride the bikes to Publix or to one of the local restaurants? No problem! Take the bike lock with you so you can secure the bikes off property.
We hope you enjoy this new and exciting amenity!
