The Promenade at Bella Trae
April 15th, 2025
Oscar and Iliana are here today. Iliana has officially taken over in the CAM role. If you see her in the community or are over at the clubhouse, take a moment to say hello and welcome her to the Promenade. More details here.
Oscar worked on some minor tree trimming yesterday and will incorporate that into his normal routine going forward.
Do you know our latest “Resident of the Week”? I’m sure you’ve seen him walking in the community. He is also a recent addition to our Finance Committee. Learn more about him below.
Have you noticed the refresh we gave the flower garden up by the exit gate? We replaced the flowers with a variety of different plants and mulched the area as well. We repurposed some of the existing plants to another area along Romani.
Paver work continues…….. we will tackle the “smaller” jobs as we have time. We accepted the bid from a paver company to handle the driveways needing extensive repairing are awaiting word on when they will be available to start. We will advise once that work is underway.
Flatten or break down ALL boxes before throwing them in the compactor!
NOTE: NO BULKY ITEMS CAN BE THROWN IN THE COMPACTOR. The includes furniture, wood, metal items, carpets, ironing boards, plastic tubs or bins, etc. These are just some of the items we’ve had to fish out of the compactor in the past couple of weeks. If we want to keep our compactor working and our costs down, please follow the guidelines and be respectful of your fellow neighbors.
If you need to assistance with a concern, contact our CAM Iliana with First Service at: PromenadesBT@fsresidential.com or at First Service 24/7 Phone Number: 866.378.1099

Our Resident of the Week
Paul Montagna
When did you purchase your Promenades home? My wife Margie and I bought our first floor unit on Romani in August 2023 and move in October of that year.
Where did you move here from? We originally bought in Ventura in September of 2018 and when I retired in 2019 we moved here from Cheshire Connecticut.
What do you enjoy about Central Florida? Living in a resort style community and being very close to Disney. Also, the weather; since we seem to skirt the extreme weather events. And, we enjoy our condo complex where there are so many great people.
What do you dislike about Central Florida? Of course the traffic due to the extensive residential building all around us.
Do you have any favorite spots to visit in the area? Since I am retired, every day is a day off and we can go anywhere, anytime. We love to cruise and besides Disney, we go to Universal and local shopping/dining.
Our Pet of the Month
Toby
My step granddaughter Daniela rescued Toby a Jack Russel/Beagle mix, as a very young puppy in mid-May 2013 in South Beach, Miami, where she was living at the time. He was about 8 weeks old, so we guess his birth date to be Mar 17, 2013. Sometime about 2 years later Daniela moved to Sidney, Australia, and left Toby with her mom Diana and stepdad Patrick in Providence, Davenport, FL. My wife Suzy and I were living with Patrick & Diana during the winters then and got to know Toby very well. With my wife Suzy’s Parkinson’s advancing a few years later to a more serious stage, when we lived here at Bella Trae, Diana and Patrick with (three young children) believed Toby would be a better fit living with Suzy & I and being a companion dog for Suzy. Toby was amazing in this role and served with much love & affection until Suzy passed in March of 2023. Toby had become a great companion service dog for Suzy. After Suzy passed Patrick & Diana thought Toby should continue to stay with me as a companion for me during my grieving period and they would see him often. He has served extremely well in this capacity. Toby really loves me, my family, my wonderful friend Gretchen Morris, our neighbors Shelly & Mike, many other friends around town, as well at the other dogs in the Promenade’s neighborhood. He has a girlfriend, Lucy next door, & also Raven and Elsa, close neighbors. He loves to go the local Panera with me almost every day & often gets a treat of some whipping cream. He is well known there by the employees and many of the regular morning customers.
*Toby and his human, Mike Riley live on Quimby.
