The Promenade at Bella Trae
Hello Promenade Residents.
The Promenade Board is excited to announce the kickoff of the Promenade Community Bike Program. All Promenade residents, their family and friends will have the opportunity to utilize the community bikes from the bike rack conveniently located by the mail kiosk. And the best part......it's FREE!!! Wanna go for a ride? Here's how the program works:
1. Request and complete the REQUIRED waiver form from your community CAM; Iliana Ruiz. You may request a form via email, or physical copies are available in her office at the Bella Trae Clubhouse during operating hours. A waiver form is also attached to this email.
Note: Your signature on the waiver covers your family and your guests.
2. Once the form is completed, signed and returned to Iliana, you will be given the access code to the bike locks. Simply unlock the bikes and go!
3. Upon the completion of your ride, return the bikes to the community bike rack and lock them back up for the next group to enjoy.
Want to ride the bikes to Publix or to one of the local restaurants? No problem! Take the bike lock with you so you can secure the bikes off property.
We hope you enjoy this new and exciting amenity!
All pictures are taken in The Promenade and around the Central Florida Area
July 11th, 2025
Iliana and Oscar will both be off today.
The Community Bike station is LIVE! And, just in time for the weekend! All you have to do is fill out and turn in the required waiver. Once received, you will be given the code to the bike locks and you are ready to roll! Click this link to access a printable PDF copy of the Bike Waiver form. Or, you can pick up a printed copy from Iliana’s desk at the clubhouse.
Duke Energy is still working on the lights just inside our entrance gate. We received an e-mail from them saying that they were unable to repair the underground cable and that it would need to be replaced. Estimated completion date is now 7/22/25.
Our “Resident of the Week” is a Bella Rose resident. He hails from Michigan and enjoys the history that can be found around the Central Florida area. Check out more about Jim below.
Our “Pets of the Month” will have you saying “Awwww….” when you see their picture! Boo and Sulley are feline “bros “. Scroll down to check out their special feature.
Pressure washing continues and will for rest of the Summer.
The board has approved the work to begin on Sidewalk repairs. The work should start shortly. If you see a sidewalk marked with a pink or red circle, then that one is slated for repair. If you spot one not marked that you feel should be addressed, please let us know.
Stay informed about what’s happening in your community. If you missed the board meeting from Thursday night, the link below will take you directly to a YouTube recording of the meeting. Hear us talk about a new amenity coming soon to the Promenade!
Flatten or break down ALL boxes before throwing them in the compactor!

Boo and Sulley
Boo T. Hechel and Sulley McSqueakerton Hechel are/ were 12 years old. I adopted them at 8 weeks old while I was living in Wisconsin and they are litter mates. In 2014, they moved with me across the country, just me and my two buddies. Sulley was such a mama’s boy. He followed me everywhere and loved to cuddled. My mom makes quilts and he ALWAYS had to lay on a quilt. His favorite human food was avocado and he loved his toy mice, especially the pink ones. He was always there for me when I had a rough day to help make me feel better and I miss him dearly.
Boo, is much vocal than Sulley was. He likes to “hunt” balls and toy mice at night time meowing loudly the whole way to my bedroom with the toy in his mouth. His most favorite toys though are ones he has had since he was a kitten, a mouse we call Frank and a blue fish on a fishing rod. Boo loves chicken and enjoys a special treat of tortilla chips. He doesn’t care for car rides or getting his nails cut. Boo isn’t much of a cuddly kitty, but I think he has been trying to enjoy cuddling with me more since Sulley left us last month. They are/ were the sweetest, most relaxed cats ever. They were never mean to any human they ever met and love rides in their stroller. They were the best brothers to each other!
*Boo and his humans live on Grady Lane.
**We picked the brothers as our pets last month and then Sulley unexpectedly passed away. He is featured in memorial. R.I.P. Sulley.
